Attention: Artic Wildlife Association

My name is Lydia Patterson, and I’m writing on behalf of Roberts and McClure Insurance Associates. We received the pamphlet that you sent a few weeks ago regarding your organization and its attempts to help wildlife in the artic regions of Canada. At our most recent board meeting our organization was very welcoming to provide donations to your association as part of our yearly support to non-profit organizations. We have decided that since the association is Canadian based, it would be much better to support these environmental efforts that others from out of the country. Last year, we didn’t donate to any environmental organizations because we concentrated on humanitarian relief. However, this year we felt that climate change is really affecting many species and feel that it should be part of our charitable efforts.

After looking over your pamphlet, we noticed that there were some opportunities for individuals to take part in the volunteer work that you do annually. That being said, we would like a few more details about the amount of donation required in order to be considered part of the participatory groups. We would like to be part of that group since several of our members and their families expressed interest in going on some of the volunteering trips. In fact, I myself wish to be involved on the Baffin Island excursion to help reindeer and artic seals, I feel it would be the experience of a lifetime.

Also, my daughter Emily was so excited when I told her about this opportunity. She has recently been learning about climate change at school, so she was really drawn to the idea of volunteering for wildlife charities. She has also passed on the word at her school and has a group of her classmates interested in signing up as well. So, I have forwarded this information to her school.

Again, my company and I are over the moon about being able to take part in protecting wildlife in our country. So, we would like to get an exact figure on the donation required to qualify for the volunteer positions as well as more details about the participatory trips.
