So, how have things been going at the new job? All I can say is that since you left it’s been all over the place here. Mainly I feel that things aren’t getting done as fast as they used to get done when you were around. Jodie is much slower and she doesn’t like to collaborate as much as you did, sometimes I even have to pick up after her, or fix up some of the mistakes that she does. It drives me crazy. I told Vincent about it, but all he did was tell me that I’m the senior employee here so I should handle my job. Sure, Vincent! All I could think was, gosh... Charlotte got out of here at the right time.
Work is work anyways I guess, but things with Rob have been annoying me too. He had the nerve to ask me if he could get a new car, when his is running perfectly unlike my old jalopy. If anyone should be getting a car, it should be me. Then, he decided to go out with the boys the other night, I guess to watch the hockey game at the pub, well guess what? He didn’t come home until three in the morning. He woke all of us up after Barney starting barking and barking because they decided to go out for a run in the yard. To make matters worse the neighbors called the police because of the disturbance, I was so embarrassed.
If that weren’t enough, the kids were really getting on my nerves last week because they were begging to go to the movies, so I said fine. But then Ronnie wanted to see one thing and Katie wanted to see another thing. I got fed up with both of them and told them to go see the one they wanted, so they did. I went with Katie and Rob went with Ronnie, and half an hour into the movie, Ronnie comes in crying that he couldn’t find Rob. Why? Well, Rob had gone to buy some snacks and couldn’t find Ronnie after. Oh my god!
It really makes me wonder what this week will be like. Vincent already told me that I need to finish a few accounts as soon as possible, so I told Jodie that she better shape up and be lightning speed or else she’s going to work unpaid overtime at home. The kids both have games this week, so I told Rob, there’ll be no fun time for him since he’s got to take Ronnie to his game and walk Barney. But the only good news that I got is that Katie won her semi-final match at a main tennis tournament last weekend, so this week is the final. If she wins, she’ll move to number one in the province and she’ll be moving on to the nationals. I’m really proud of her.
Anyway, that’s my hectic life, I really hope things are going well at the new job, if not I’ve got a desk with your name written all over it.
Let me know,
Michelle
