Dear Customer Support Team,

I am writing to express my concern regarding my most recent electricity bill (Account Number: 29847531), which appears to be significantly higher than expected. For the billing period of June 1 to June 30, 2024, I was charged an amount that is nearly double my average monthly usage. There have been no major changes in my household’s energy consumption, nor have there been any new appliances or unusual activity that might explain such an increase. I respectfully request a review of this bill to determine if there may have been an error or miscalculation.

To provide some context, my electricity usage over the past six months has remained relatively consistent, averaging around 450 kWh per month. However, the bill for June states that I used over 920 kWh, which seems highly unlikely given that we were away on vacation for part of that month. Additionally, the weather during June was milder than usual, so we used our air conditioning far less frequently. These details make the current charges even more confusing and concerning.

I would greatly appreciate it if your team could conduct a thorough review of my account and meter readings for the month in question. If necessary, I am also open to scheduling a technician visit to inspect the meter and verify that it is functioning properly. I understand that occasional fluctuations can occur, but in this case, the difference is quite substantial and does not align with my regular usage patterns. I am confident that a closer review will help clarify the situation and ensure that my bill accurately reflects my actual consumption.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. I have always been satisfied with your service and trust that this issue will be handled with fairness and transparency. Please let me know if you need any further information or documentation from my side to assist with the review. I look forward to hearing from you soon with an update regarding the outcome of the investigation.

Sincerely,
Norman Powell
